June Stampin' Up Newsletter

WOW!!  It's June already!!  You know what that means?  The Last Chance lists have been posted!  All stamp sets on the Last Chance list will be available until the end of June; all items on the Accessories Last Chance list will be on a while supplies last only!  So if there are stamp sets that you "must have", you have until the end of June to place your order.  If there is anything on the Accessories Last Chance list, I suggest that you do NOT wait to order!  Most of the time these items sell quickly!

The new catalog comes out next month....I've already placed my order for my first box of catalogs.  If you are interested in receiving one, please contact me!

I've resumed teaching classes...please check my calendar for more information.  I should have samples for my next class up soon!

On a personal note....thanks to everyone for your well wishes!  My knees are doing much better!  I start out-patient torture, I mean therapy, this AM!!  I am working on getting my flex and extension back to normal and building up my stamina!

These are the samples for my Monday night card class...

we'll be creating a nautical themed card using the new The Open Sea stamp set in the Summer Mini -- great for a Father's Day card or masculine birthday, a feminine card using our new Strength & Hope stamp set to celebrate a Breast Cancer survivor and finally a fun, summer card using the Sunny Fun stamp set -- you get to choose one of the three color choices and stamps (either the flip flops, ice creams or floating kids)!!  

All of these stamp sets and punches are in the Summer Mini catalog and are available until August 31st!

we'll be creating a cute Fridge Punch Art card -- complete with mini card, a Spring or Easter card with Dogwood blooms using the Build a Blossom punch, and a masculine card using the Plane & Simple stamp set and our Color Spritzer tool.

I thought I had already posted these, but for some reason they never appeared on my blog...so I'm going to try again!  These were the three cards we made at my Technique class last night.  I think the girls loved them! 
We created the top card using the Shaving Creme technique...it was the first time I had tried it and IT WAS AWESOME!!  So many different outcomes depending on the colors used and the designs that were swirled into the shaving creme!
The second card was created using the Resist Embossing technique...I LOVE heat embossing!  It's like a mini miracle every time I do it!
The last card is called the Telescoping Circle Card and I think it would be an awesome card for a child!  So much fun!!

March Scrapbooking Class

I had my March Scrapbooking Class today and we made our March and April pages....I think they turned out super cute!!  We did the April pages since I won't be holding this class in April because of my surgery.  If you are interested in joining us for our monthly Scrapbooking class, please contact me; and if you want to complete the pages that we have already done (so that you will have them all!), no problem!  Call or e-mail me for more information.

Class Schedule

I just wanted to post a quick update for my upcoming class schedule....I've had to change a few dates because of my pending knee surgery (trying to get as many of my classes in before my operation!)! 

March 7th (Monday) -- Card class

March 19th (Saturday) -- Scrapbooking class (we'll be doing a double class creating pages for both March and April)

March 21st (Monday) -- Technique University class

April 4th (Monday) -- Card class

and if there's a want, I can do a Technique University class on Monday, April 11th.

These are my samples for my Monday night (3/7/11) Card class!!  We will be creating a card using the Create a Cupcake stamp set and coordinating punch, the Nature Walk stamp set and coordinating DSP (Designer Series Paper) Botanical Gazette and a card using the Build a Blossom stamp set and coordinating punch.

SU Technique Class - - February 28th!!

Class projects will include two cards and a small bag!!

Mirror Technique...really cool and easy technique!!

This is actually a mini bag....and the stamped image is using Poppin' Pastels!!

 

These are my samples for my Monday night (2/28/11) Technique class!!  We will be creating a card using the mirror technique, we will learn a new card fold (the Flap Card) and we will be creating a mini bag coloring the image with the Poppin' Pastels technique (although we will be using different DSP than in the picture...the new Springtime Vintage from the Occasions Mini is BEAUTIFUL!!)!  Doesn't it sound like FUN???

Another option for those Valentine's Day stamp sets....

Tag Mini album...great idea for kids to give to their best friends! Basic album is VERY easy to create and uses only one sheet of 8.5 x 11 cardstock (just add DSP or background stamps and bling!)
