I created this page about my beautiful dog, Sapphire....she definitely didn't like the snow we had this past winter!  The first time she had to go out, she went to the door, saw the snow coming down, and promptly turned around!  When she finally couldn't hold it anymore, she went out, but only to the end of the driveway (which my hubby had cleared)!  When she finally ventured into the cold, white stuff, she did her business and came right back in!  Too cold and wet for her!

MDS Monday!!!

 

Welcome to MDS Monday!!  

Today's post features a scrapbooking layout made using Stampin' Up's MDS (My Digital Studio) program!  Our software is super easy to use...but you can also import our digital elements into other programs!!  

I created this page about the Photo classes that I recently took....I've always used my camera on the Auto setting and have always wanted to know how to use the other settings.  These classes helped me understand ISO, Aperture and Shutter speeds!  I was so excited to be able to take pictures at night and SEE the subject I was focusing on!

Notice the pictures of the propeller?  In the top one, the grass is in focus and the propeller isn't...in the bottom one, I reversed it so that the propeller would be in focus and the grass blurred.  

These classes were so much fun and so informative!!  They also have an "Up Close and Personal" class....hmmm...do I see another class in my future??

Welcome to MDS Monday!!  

Today's post features a scrapbooking layout made using Stampin' Up's MDS (My Digital Studio) program!  Our software is super easy to use...but you can also import our digital elements into other programs!!  

I created these pages about our recent Hurricane...and how lucky we were to only have minimal damage and to have lost power for only 8 hours.  We were without power for 10 days when our area was hit by Hurricane Isabel in 2003.    

Don't you love the way I used the large Medallion stamp and changed the opacity so that is looks like it was stamped with VersaMark?  Contact me if you'd like to see the MDS software in action....

I love using MDS to create cards and scrapbooking pages digitally...I don't "waste" paper and embellishments trying to get the design right...and then I'm able to recreate the card using "real" paper and embellishments!!  This layout will be re-created for my Scrapbook Class for July's layout....or something VERY similar!!

Did you notice that you can add drop shadows??  It makes it look like things pop off the page!!
