Partial Christmas Present....

January Calendar Page
February Calendar Page
March Calendar Page
A few days before Christmas, my best friend told me that she wanted me to make her a calendar (for work)....well, with everything I've had going on, I only had time to do January, February and March!  I will give her the calendar this week, with the promise for the rest of the months over the next couple of weeks!!  She'll be able to take the scrapbook page from each month, add a couple of 4x6 pictures and have an album at the end of the year!  I tried to use my existing supplies to make these pages, and used some cutting files and punches.
My January scrapbook class will be creating a double page layout similar to January's picture....since we had snow already in December, I think we'll see more in January!!  If not, I'll use some pics from our recent snow!
Contact me for more information about the scrapbooking classes I'm offering!

Birthday Card...

I just had to share the birthday card I made for my brother in law!  He loves to cook...so I thought that a chef card would be perfect!  The inside is 3D....too cute!
The chef and stove were made using Stampin'Up punches and stamps!

Birthday Card for my Card Swap in NC....

This month's card swap theme is Feminine Birthday...and this is my card!  (They will be mailed by this weekend cuz!)  I LOVE the Manhattan Floral Embossing Folder from SU, and I am trying to use up some of my retiring (or retired) card stock....I "think" this card stock is Purely Pomegranate (an INColor from 2008).  The sentiment is from the Well Scripted stamp set, stamped on the wide oval.  I didn't have a scalloped oval punch to fit, so I made my own and cut it with my Pazzle!  I also spritzed the front of the card and the sentiment with SU's SMOOCH SPRITZ...I used Gold Glow!  Although I have to be honest....my cousin bought me a couple of colors of the Smooch Spritz awhile back...I was VERY happy to see them in our new Summer Mini!!  It's hard to see the effect in the photo, but it just gives a glimmer of sparkle!  Try it on different colors and see how the effect changes!
SU Products Used:  Purely Pomegranate cardstock (retired); Wide Oval Punch (112082 - $15.95); Whisper White Organza Ribbon (114319 - $5.95); Manhattan Flower Embossing Folder (114517 - $7.95); Well Scripted Stamp Set (retired); Gold Glow Smootch Spritz (118770 - $4.95)

Envelope Mini Scrapbook for MOM....

Sorry I didn't get this posted earlier...I've been having internet issues!!  This was my version of the Envelope Mini Scrapbook that we made at class earlier this week!  I have one more to make (one for my mother and one for my wonderful Mother-In-Law!)...but they are so simple to make it won't take me long tomorrow!  The hard part will be finding pictures to put inside!!  I love these springy colors!!

I used the Shades of Spring DSP (it was available in the Occasions Mini), So Saffron, Pretty in Pink and Very Vanilla cardstock.  I also used the new Medium Jewelry Tag punch (LOVE that punch), Scallop Circle, 1 inch, 1 1/4 inch and 1 3/8 inch circle punches.

This would be a wonderful gift for a father and graduate too!!  Contact me if you are interested in reserving a date to hold a class for YOUR friends to learn how to make one!!

Time for another card....

Time for another card for my monthly card swap for NC...this time the theme was Men's Birthday Card.  I found this "wallet" card online and thought it would be perfect...so I made my own.  This card was made using brown cardstock (I used several different shades creating my 12 cards...I'm trying to use up the SU retiring colors!) (Close to Cocoa (retiring in July, item # 101341; Chocolate Chip (item # 102128; Soft Suede (item # 115318) , the Modern Label punch (Item # 116630), a couple of Antique Brass brads (item # 109109) and the Tiny Mosaic embossing folder from Cuttlebug.  The inside has a couple of "pockets" to insert your greeting and/or a gift card, and the wallet actually "opens" and you can put a check or money inside.
If you are interested in joining a monthly card swap, let me know!!  They are a lot of fun and an excellent way to build up your card stash!

DON'T FORGET...SATURDAY IS THE LAST DAY FOR PAYMENT FOR MY ENVELOPE MINI SCRAPBOOK PROJECT!  I only have a few spots left....so hurry and save your spot!
