Welcome to Thursday's Tip!!

Today I am admitting that I am spoiled!!   I had all my paper stored in Cropper Hopper Paper Holders, but they were overflowing....so I asked my Father In Law to make me a storage rack.  I gave him the measurements and within a couple of hours he had it made!!  I LOVE IT!!  (If I had to do it over, however, I would add doors so that I could close them when I'm not crafting to help keep the sunlight off the paper.  Although knowing him, he could probably add them for me now....he's a WIZ with wood!  But I think I will wait til he gets his kitchen redone...he just built my MIL new cabinets, put in a new ceiling, new floor...the works!  They are waiting on the countertops....)
Sorry...back to my paper...anyway, I separated my 8 1/2 x 11 paper and put that in my new paper rack.  I have two Color Collections per row, and they are in alphabetical order within each color collection (this is how my 12x12 Paper Holders, Ink Pads and Sponge/Dauber/ReInkers are also stored --- Color Collection - Alphabetical Order).  I left my 12x12 paper in the Cropper Hopper Paper Holders -- I have one Paper Holder per Color Collection, and each color paper (12x12) is stored in front of a Paper Pouch where I store all scraps.  It's nice to be able to grab a Paper Pouch and see if I can use a scrap first...and I am using them more often!

THANKS and as always...

Patriotic Card

Last week we had our monthly Stampin' Up! meeting at my (one) upline's house....our card swap theme was our choice of either Masculine or Red, White and Blue.....this was my card!  I didn't have a stamp that I liked for the bottom, so I used SU's My Digital Studio and created the "Celebrate" and then used my regular supplies for the rest of the card!  It's nice to know that, if I don't have exactly what I want, I can always turn to MDS and create what I want!
On this card, I used Whisper White, Real Red, Night of Navy and Crushed Curry.  Crushed Curry will be retiring at the end of June...man, I'm going to miss that yellow!  It's such a beautiful, rich color!  The stars were punched with our Large Star Punch out of Brushed Silver Cardstock.

New Price for Cardstock in the new SU Catalog...

Important News!!!

Although we are not allowed to share images with you from the new Idea Book & Catalog (it will be revealed on July 1), I did get permission from Stampin' Up! to share some important pricing info with you.  Effective July, our 8-1/2" x 11" smooth cardstock will be priced at $6.95 for a 24 sheet pack.

Additionally our single color 12" x 12" cardstock will ONLY be sold as follows: 6 smooth sheets and 6 textured sheets for $6.95.  You will no longer be able to get packages of all smooth cardstock.

This represents a significant price increase (due to rising costs all around) from our current cardstock prices of $5.50 per 24 sheet pack.  And in the case of the 12" x 12", I know this will impact anyone that scrapbooks.

I wanted to share this information with you as soon as possible, so that you can stock up if you want to...but remember anything that is retiring (except stamp sets) is "while supplies last"...so don't delay if you are interested in something!

PS - I've got the new catalog and if you want a "sneak peek"...call me to set  up a workshop this month!!  THE NEW CATALOG IS WONDERFUL!!  Stampin'Up!  has really outdone themselves!  I see something new I want every time I look at it!
